Samsung Electronics has unveiled the One UI 9 beta program, starting with the Galaxy S26 series, and built on the latest Android 17. This new interface promises enhanced creative tools, more customization options, improved accessibility, and stronger security features. Users can expect new tools in Samsung Notes, a revamped Contacts app with integrated Creative Studio access, and an updated Quick Panel for better control over settings. Accessibility improvements include adjustable Mouse Key speed and a combined TalkBack package, alongside a new Text Spotlight feature for easier reading. Security is bolstered with advanced protection against high-risk apps. The beta program is rolling out to Galaxy S26 users in select countries, including Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S., through the Samsung Members app. Samsung continues to innovate across its product range, integrating AI and fostering a connected experience through its SmartThings ecosystem.
