How is VISIONARY planning to scale its spatial data OS for autonomous driving AI with new funding?

Korean startup VISIONARY has successfully secured $576,000 in seed funding, aimed at advancing its spatial data operating system, PRISM. This funding, contributed by KAIST Venture Investment Holdings and MY Social Company, will enable VISIONARY to enhance PRISM and expand its team with experts in artificial intelligence and spatial data. PRISM is designed to efficiently process and organize unstructured spatial data from autonomous driving environments, utilizing sensor data from LiDAR, cameras, and more. It identifies valuable scenes for AI model training, significantly reducing the time needed to create training datasets by up to 90%. Central to PRISM’s innovation is its Data Flywheel architecture, which improves automation by integrating human-verified outputs back into model training, enhancing accuracy over time. VISIONARY is collaborating with notable institutions like Hyundai Motor and Seoul National University to convert their spatial data into AI-ready datasets. With the new funding, the company aims to refine PRISM further and attract new clients in the autonomous driving and mobility sectors. CEO Youngseok Kim emphasizes the goal of transforming Korea’s extensive spatial data into accessible AI resources.
