What are the new camera features of the Galaxy S26 Ultra?

The Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces several camera enhancements that elevate photo and video capabilities in various conditions. Notable upgrades include a wider f/1.4 aperture on the main camera, enhancing low-light performance and reducing motion blur in brighter settings. The zoom cameras also see improvements, with a 50MP 5x telephoto lens featuring a wider aperture for better performance in dim environments. New to this model is a 24MP photo mode, offering a middle ground between the lower and higher resolution options for more detailed shots without large file sizes.

For video enthusiasts, the Galaxy S26 Ultra debuts the APV (Advanced Professional Video) format, maintaining higher quality for post-editing flexibility. It supports 8K video at 30fps, 4K at up to 120fps, and Log video for advanced color grading. Additional video features include Super Steady with Horizontal Lock for stable handheld shooting, and 10-bit HDR video for richer visuals.

The front camera expands its field of view, perfect for group selfies, and includes an Advanced Selfie feature to improve skin tone accuracy under artificial lighting. Finally, the Intelligent Document Scanner offers automatic enhancements for document scanning, streamlining multi-page scans with professional results.
