Consumers informed of the breach in December 2023 are eligible for compensation, with potential payouts reaching $10,000. As part of the settlement, Comcast is also committed to enhancing its cybersecurity measures to better protect customer data. Despite agreeing to the settlement, the company has not admitted any wrongdoing.
