The update promises more dependable and structured responses, enhancing readability. The redesign, compatible with both desktop and mobile, introduces a feature called “progressive disclosure,” which tailors tools and controls to your specific prompts, reducing clutter. Additionally, users can now format text directly within an improved prompt box that adjusts to accommodate all input. Within Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot operates from a side panel, ready to answer queries or suggest modifications to documents, with the capability to open a chat window from any paragraph, spreadsheet cell, or slide.
