Samsung has begun the global rollout of the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. Initially launched in South Korea, the update is now accessible in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the USA. Users can identify the update by firmware version X400XXU4CZE5 for the Wi-Fi model and X406BXXU4CZE5 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version. To install, users should navigate to Settings > Software update and select Download and install. Released with Android 15 and One UI 7.0 in August 2025, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite received the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 in October 2025 and is anticipated to get the Android 17-based One UI 9.0 later this year. The One UI 8.5 update offers a refreshed design, customizable Quick Panel, and enhanced lock screen features. Bixby now includes improved natural language understanding and internet integration. The update enhances the Clock, Samsung Health, Calculator, and Device Care apps, while Samsung DeX remembers app window sizes. Additional features include early alerts for Reminders and advanced table support in Samsung Notes.
