Apple is preparing to introduce iOS 27 at its WWDC 2026 keynote on June 8, bringing exciting updates to Apple Wallet. Users will soon be able to create digital passes by scanning physical items like movie tickets and gym membership cards, enabling custom digital storage. Additionally, a new feature will simplify bill-splitting for groups. When paying a restaurant bill, users can take a photo of the receipt, allocate items to individuals, and generate Apple Cash payment requests for reimbursements. However, this service may be limited to the U.S. due to its reliance on Apple Cash. The first developer beta of iOS 27 will be available right after the keynote, with a public beta in July and a full release expected in September.
