Will the Chassidus and AI Conference Transform Spiritual Outreach Again?

The Chassidus and Artificial Intelligence Conference is set to return for its second year after a successful inaugural event that attracted over 400 global participants. Scheduled for June 14, 2026, this virtual conference aims to explore the potential of artificial intelligence in spreading Chassidus teachings, a mission rooted in the directive of hafotzas hamaayonois chutzah.

The conference, spearheaded by Rabbi Zalman Abraham, will maintain its focus on the responsible use of AI in religious education. Last year’s discussions highlighted both the opportunities and challenges of using AI tools for teaching Torah values, emphasizing the need for accuracy and fidelity to traditional teachings.

Innovations such as “vibe coding” and Chassidus Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) models show how non-experts can now create digital platforms and applications, potentially transforming the dissemination of Chassidus. AI-driven research databases and media production tools have also expanded the reach and accessibility of these teachings.

This year’s event features speakers like Rabbi Asher Crispe, who will discuss the future of AI and its implications for Chassidus, and Moishy Goldstein, who will provide insights into creating high-quality visual content. Rabbi Yossi Yaffe will introduce a project mapping the intellectual history of Chassidus, while Rayi Stern will showcase a Torah API initiative.

The conference, in partnership with Rabbi Mendy Shishler’s “AI for Shlichus” WhatsApp groups, offers free participation with limited spaces, prioritizing those actively engaged in advancing Chassidus outreach. Interested individuals can register and find more information at ChassidusAI.com.
