Is the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide lighter with better battery specs?

Samsung fans and mobile tech enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. This device, with its unique form factor, is becoming an attractive option for those considering their first foldable phone. Recent leaks have unveiled some of its revised specifications, sparking interest among potential buyers.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is reported to weigh 201 grams, positioning it between the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in terms of weight. This relatively lightweight build, coupled with its wide aspect ratio, could enhance its handling and appeal.

In terms of battery, the device is rumored to feature a 4,800mAh capacity with 45W fast charging, an upgrade from earlier predictions of a smaller battery and slower charging capabilities. While these specs might not be groundbreaking, they do suggest a more premium experience.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide at the upcoming Unpacked event this summer, alongside the standard Fold 8 and Flip 8 models.
