How did Dreambase raise $3.7M in its Seed round?

Dreambase, an AI-driven analytics startup based in Austin, Texas, has successfully closed a $3.7 million Seed funding round. The round was led by Felicis Ventures, a significant supporter of Supabase. Other investors include Active Capital, FirstMile Ventures, Darkmode Ventures, Angel Collective, Earl Grey Capital, and Mercury Fund. Key executives from Supabase, as well as angel investors from companies like Perplexity, Cloudflare, and QuotaPath, also participated. Dreambase aims to revolutionize data analytics by enabling users to interact with PostgreSQL databases using natural language, eliminating the need for traditional business intelligence stacks. The funds will be used to enhance engineering capabilities, improve product onboarding, and expand enterprise market strategies. Founded in August 2024 by Andy Keil and Kyle Ledbetter, Dreambase targets teams within the Supabase ecosystem with its AI-native data agents that generate dashboards and provide real-time business insights.
