Samsung is set to release two foldable phones this year: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 boasts a more compact design and a wider foldable screen compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It is expected to come with a larger 4,800mAh battery, offering an increase of 400mAh over the previous model. Additionally, it supports up to 45W fast wired charging, significantly improving on the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 25W charging capability. Positioned just below the Ultra model in terms of price and features, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will include a 5.4-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch crease-less internal display. Both screens will utilize 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2x panels with HDR10+ support. Other features include stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
