Has Estro Tech Robotics secured a ₹1 crore seed round led by Genrobotics Innovations?

Genrobotics Innovations Pvt Ltd, a prominent player in the robotics sector, has spearheaded a ₹1 crore seed funding round for Estro Tech Robotics, a startup that excels in robotics and AIoT solutions. This investment heralds the start of a strategic partnership, merging Genrobotics’ proficiency in advanced robotics and technology commercialisation with Estro Tech’s expertise in AIoT, automation, and intelligent systems.

The newly acquired funds are set to fast-track the development and commercialisation of cutting-edge infrastructure technologies designed to tackle significant challenges in utility and urban infrastructure management. Beyond financial support, the alliance is anticipated to offer product development assistance, market access, and strategic guidance as Estro Tech strengthens its foothold in the critical infrastructure technology sector.

Established in 2020 by engineering graduates Christo Varghese, Christo Kollannur, Rahul Vincent, and Bonsto Wilson, Estro Tech Robotics is a deep-tech startup dedicated to crafting robotics and AIoT solutions. The company initially gained attention with India’s first UV sterilising robot during the pandemic and later branched into retail tech with RobAd, an interactive robotic platform for in-store advertising.

Currently, Estro Tech collaborates with leading FMCG brands and retailers in major Indian cities and has secured distribution partnerships in international markets like Nigeria, Botswana, Qatar, and South Korea. Based in Thrissur and operating from Infopark Koratty, the company has emerged from Kerala’s burgeoning startup ecosystem, leveraging its robotics and AIoT expertise to create commercially scalable tech products.

The startup is now shifting its focus to critical infrastructure technologies, specifically solutions for monitoring and managing underground utility networks and urban infrastructure assets. With the new capital, Estro Tech aims to develop advanced inspection robots capable of navigating and assessing underground networks, AI-driven sewer-line monitoring systems for continuous oversight, and predictive intelligence platforms to detect anomalies, forecast maintenance needs, and enhance operational efficiency for utility operators.
