A standalone Siri app has been introduced, offering a dedicated interface and conversation history synced across devices.
The update also includes Visual Intelligence, which provides detailed information from screenshots and supports Apple Pencil annotations. New features in the Photos app, like AI-driven editing tools, enhance image manipulation and sharing. Safari and the Passwords app benefit from AI enhancements, improving organization and security. The Shortcuts app now supports natural language requests, while the Maps app offers enhanced Flyover experiences.
iPadOS 27 enhances multitasking and performance, making app launches and file transfers significantly faster.
