How is Samsung Care boosting skilled careers in the US?

The need for skilled careers in electronics repair is growing in the United States, as advanced devices demand professional expertise. Samsung Care is addressing this demand by fostering the next generation of skilled technicians. As part of its workforce development strategy, Samsung is aiding students in acquiring industry-recognized credentials, including the Wireless Industry Service Excellence certification, which equips them with essential mobile device repair skills. Recently, over 30 students from Frisco, Texas participated in a five-day Smartphone Repair Bootcamp, gaining hands-on experience and earning Level 1 certification. Samsung is also collaborating with the City of Plano’s Economic Development Department and the CTIA to host a Smartphone and Device Repair Career Fair on June 18, aiming to connect job seekers with employers in device repair, mobile technologies, and robotics. Companies at the fair are actively recruiting entry-level technicians and aspiring engineers.
