Will Apple’s 20th Anniversary iPhones Come in Two Sizes and Launch with a New Foldable Model?

Apple is intensifying its efforts on the upcoming 20th anniversary iPhone, set to debut next year. The device is rumored to feature an edge-to-edge display with curved glass on all sides, creating a nearly borderless visual effect. Two models, mirroring the sizes of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, are expected, with dimensions likely at 6.3 and 6.9 inches, similar to the current iPhone 17 Pro series.

Alongside these anniversary models, Apple plans to unveil a second-generation foldable iPhone. All three devices will incorporate a 2-nanometer A21 chip. Meanwhile, an iPhone 19 is also in development, expected to utilize a different version of the A21 chip, possibly a base variant instead of the Pro version.

This year’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be powered by the A20 Pro processor, marking a significant node upgrade from the previous 3-nanometer chips. The standard iPhone 18, however, will not be released this fall; its launch is scheduled for spring 2027, featuring a less powerful A20 chip built on the same 2nm process.
