Is Samsung producing OLED panels for the new iPad Mini?

Samsung Display has been a key provider of OLED panels for Apple’s devices for nearly a decade, beginning with the iPhone X in 2017. The company has since supplied OLED panels for various iPhone models and iPad Pro versions. Now, Samsung has initiated the production of OLED panels for the forthcoming iPad Mini. This new iPad Mini will feature an OLED screen, replacing the traditional 60Hz LCD panel of the 2024 model, offering enhancements in brightness, color accuracy, contrast, and refresh rate. It will be the second iPad to incorporate an OLED panel, following the iPad Pro (2024). The OLED-equipped iPad Mini is anticipated to be released later this year, and the iPad Air series is also expected to transition to OLED panels in the future.
