Is Apple selling refurbished iPhone 16e models starting at $419?

Apple has expanded its refurbished offerings in the United States to include the iPhone 16e, providing customers with a more affordable option since the device’s initial release in February 2025. The entry-level version with 128GB is now priced at $419, reflecting a $180 savings compared to its original price. As the iPhone 16e was discontinued upon the release of the iPhone 17e, it is no longer available as a new purchase from Apple. Customers can also opt for upgraded models with 256GB and 512GB storage, priced at $509 and $679, respectively, available in black or white. Despite being more affordable than the iPhone 17e, the iPhone 16e lacks certain features such as MagSafe charging, a faster modem, and the latest chip technology. However, refurbished units are unlocked, thoroughly tested, and come with new batteries and outer shells, offering a near-new experience backed by a one-year warranty and optional AppleCare+ coverage.
