In anticipation of their imminent release, the company appears to be updating its Galaxy Wearable app for smartphones to support these new models.
The updated version of the Galaxy Wearable app for Android, numbered 2.2.70.26060861, introduces two key changes. The first, noted as “Supports new devices,” is believed to pertain to the anticipated Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. This update signals the watches’ impending arrival. The second change focuses on “One UI optimisation and improved app stability,” enhancing the app’s performance. Users can obtain the latest update by navigating to Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates > Update all.
