How Can You Prepare Your iPhone for the iOS 27 Public Beta?

The iOS 27 public beta is set to be released this month, following previous announcements by Apple. Historically, the first public betas for iOS versions 16 through 26 have been made available between July 11 and July 24. To prepare for the iOS 27 public beta, users can sign up for free at beta.apple.com. Once available, the beta can be installed on a compatible iPhone by navigating to Settings, selecting General, then Software Update, and choosing the Beta Updates option. It’s important to note that while public betas are generally more stable than developer versions, they may still contain bugs and performance issues. It’s advised to back up your iPhone before installation and, if possible, use a secondary device. The iOS 27 is compatible with iPhone 11 and newer models, but certain features like the Siri AI are limited to iPhone 15 Pro and newer. The revamped Siri requires joining a waitlist, which can be accessed through the Settings app. Additionally, iOS 27 introduces Liquid Glass design enhancements, performance upgrades, and expanded child safety features.
