FAVE, an organic-certified drink-mix brand, has closed a $1 million seed round led by Supernatural Ventures and launched nationally — exclusively — at Sprouts Farmers Market. The company positions itself as the first USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified brand in a drink-mix category estimated at nearly $1 billion, a space traditionally dominated by high-sugar, artificial-ingredient formulations.
Funding and national rollout
The $1 million infusion will support FAVE’s commercial rollout following its entry into almost 500 Sprouts locations across the U.S. The in-store pack is a 10-stick box carrying an $8.99 MSRP. FAVE also offers a 16-stick pack directly through favemixes.com and via Thrive Market and Amazon, priced at $24.99 MSRP.
Organic positioning in a sugary category
FAVE emphasizes flavor-first formulations rather than the performance claims that currently dominate the beverage aisle. Each serving contains 6 g of organic cane sugar and about 25 calories, with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives — a clear departure from legacy competitors that often contain 30–40 g of sugar per serving.
Products and early recognition
The launch lineup includes Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Strawberry Lemonade, and Tangy Orange. Ahead of its retail debut, FAVE picked up several industry honors: winner of the Naturally Network San Diego Pitch Slam, a Progressive Grocer Editor’s Pick, and recognition from distributors UNFI (“Up Next”) and KeHE (“Golden Ticket”).
Team and investors
Founded by Ryan Raish, a CPG executive with two decades of experience working on brands such as Guayaki, Honest Tea, popchips, and Chloe’s Pops, FAVE’s seed round was led by Supernatural Ventures. Other participants include Angel Group, Great Circle Ventures, and operators and founders from brands like popchips, Perfect Bar, and Brainiac. Chris Robb, General Partner at Supernatural Ventures, highlighted the opportunity to “put taste back at the center of a category long focused on performance.”
