Galaxy Tab S12+: What are the specs and key features?

Samsung is preparing a new high-end tablet, the Galaxy Tab S12+, expected to arrive alongside an Ultra variant for back-to-school 2026. The model promises performance and feature upgrades over previous generations, with a planned September 2026 launch and a U.S. price that could exceed $1,100.

Galaxy Tab S12+: design and durability
The Galaxy Tab S12+ is said to retain the understated, premium aesthetic of its predecessors, featuring an ultra-thin chassis in reinforced aluminum — described as “Enhanced Armor Aluminum” — and IP68 dust- and water-resistance. The included S Pen may also carry an IP68 rating and magnetically recharge on the tablet. A product image recently surfaced in a certification database, corroborating the expected appearance.

Display and S Pen built for creation
The tablet is reported to sport a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 1,752 x 2,800 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display should support HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, and incorporate an under‑display optical fingerprint reader. The bundled S Pen would use Wacom EMR technology, offering tilt detection, 4,096 pressure levels and latency as low as 2.8 ms — specifications aimed at precision for drawing and note-taking.

Photo and video
On the imaging side, the Galaxy Tab S12+ may include a 12 MP rear module with autofocus and a 12 MP front camera. Both sensors would reportedly be capable of recording 4K video. (Source text was truncated at this point.)
