An icon for Samsung’s AI home robot Ballie has been discovered inside one of the company’s apps, following a separate leak of UI sketches last week and suggesting the project remains active despite multiple launch delays.
The leaked icon depicts Ballie and could serve as a system-wide identifier for the device across Samsung’s ecosystem and apps.
Ballie icon and what it implies
Its presence in a Samsung app suggests the company is still actively working on Ballie and could eventually bring the product to market. Last week, sketches of the companion app’s UI leaked online, a previous sign that Samsung has not abandoned the product despite delaying its launch multiple times.
