Xpander raises $7.5M Seed to scale enterprise AI agents

Xpander has raised $7.5 million in a Seed round led by Pico Venture Partners to help enterprises deploy and manage AI agents across clouds and workflows.

The San Francisco-based startup develops infrastructure aimed at enabling organizations to move from experimental AI pilots to full-scale operational deployments. Xpander says the new capital will be used to expand its presence in the enterprise software market and to scale its platform.

Xpander’s plans and product

Xpander intends to use the funding to support development and deployment of its universal agent harness and its Omni enterprise AI agent. The company’s platform features a universal agent harness — a model-, framework-, and cloud-agnostic runtime that enables AI agents to operate as portable workloads within a customer’s existing environment. Omni is described as an enterprise AI agent positioned as an agentic Forward Deployed Engineer. The platform is designed to allow organizations to manage AI agents across disparate cloud environments and models without requiring significant infrastructure restructuring.
