Counterpoint Research reported that the Galaxy S26 Ultra was the best-selling Android smartphone worldwide in Q2 2026.
However, the Galaxy S26 Ultra was fourth in overall smartphone sales for the quarter: Apple’s iPhone 17 was the top-selling model, followed by the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 Pro.
Galaxy S26 Ultra’s ranking and Samsung’s top 10 presence
Samsung placed five models in the global top 10 for Q2 2026. Alongside the Galaxy S26 Ultra at fourth place, the list included the Galaxy A07 (fifth), the Galaxy A17 5G (sixth), the Galaxy A17 4G (eighth) and the Galaxy S26 (ninth).
Sales performance versus the Galaxy S25 Ultra
Counterpoint Research also says the Galaxy S26 Ultra outsold its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, during the same period and accounted for more than half of total sales of the Galaxy S26 series.
