Uruguayan-Chilean startup Roma AI has raised a $1.2 million seed round led by Invexor Venture Partners. The company was founded by Richard Barbera, Javier Hernández and Benjamín De Oto.
Roma AI provides a platform for businesses to build and manage AI agents that connect with internal systems, including payment platforms, calendars, catalogs and proprietary software. The platform is designed to keep sensitive data within each client’s infrastructure and allows companies to monitor and audit agents’ actions.
Roma AI growth and use of funds
Roma AI will allocate 55% of the funding to expand its team from 9 to 30 employees over the next six months, including new hires in Uruguay. The startup plans to dedicate 33% of the seed round to marketing and events, and 12% to technology and infrastructure.
The company serves more than 50 clients across Latin America and processes over 500,000 messages each month. Pricing starts at $99 per month for 500 conversations.
