The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been confirmed as the world’s thinnest foldable phone, surpassing its competitors with precise measurements. Using a micrometer caliper, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 was compared against the Honor Magic V5, Oppo Find N5, and Vivo X Fold5. The results revealed that the Honor Magic V5, initially touted as the thinnest, was surpassed by the Oppo Find N5, which is thinner. The Vivo X Fold5 ranks fourth. Samsung’s honest approach, including screen protectors in measurements, contrasts with Honor’s previous claims that excluded them. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 measures 4.18mm when unfolded and 8.66mm folded, making it the clear winner. This achievement underlines the importance of verifying manufacturers’ claims, as Samsung’s dedication to transparency has set a new benchmark in the foldable phone market.
