Apple Intelligence will work more on-device in iOS 27. According to Apple, these capabilities let Apple Intelligence give Siri access to the entire iPhone, enabling deeper interaction with device data.
3. Liquid Glass UI upgrade
iOS 27 includes a Liquid Glass user-interface enhancement described as a visual upgrade to the system UI.
4. AI features in the Photo app
The update brings new AI-driven features to the Photos app, adding machine‑intelligence functionality to photo handling and editing.
5. Improved Apple Shortcut feature
iOS 27 introduces improvements to the Apple Shortcut feature to extend and refine shortcut functionality on eligible iPhones.
The update will be delivered in phases across supported models; users on eligible devices should receive iOS 27 according to Apple’s rollout schedule beginning September 14, 2026.
