Samsung Galaxy S26 price rises in India — 256GB now Rs 99,999

Samsung has increased the price of the Galaxy S26 in India for both storage variants, with prices rising by up to Rs 12,000. The 256GB model now costs Rs 99,999, up from Rs 87,999, and the 512GB model is listed at Rs 1,19,999. The revised prices will take effect from September 20, 2026, meaning smartphones can still be purchased at the launch price for three more days.

The Galaxy S26 has been made unavailable on Amazon, while Flipkart is showing limited stock. Other S series models, the Galaxy S26 Plus and the Galaxy S26 Ultra, have not received a price hike yet, although a similar increase is expected.

Similar to Apple’s iPhone 17, Samsung increased the price of its compact flagship amid what the company and industry reports describe as an industry-wide trend driven by memory chip shortages and component price hikes.
