Samsung has opened the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A15 5G in India.
The move marks an expansion of Samsung’s usual beta rollout: the company typically makes new One UI betas available to the Galaxy A5x, Galaxy A3x and Galaxy A2x lineups, but with One UI 9.0 it is extending the program to the Galaxy A1x series, and the Galaxy A15 5G is the first device in that range to receive the beta.

The beta update is currently live in India. The package size is 2,758.85MB and carries firmware version A156EDXUAZZI2, according to Mohammed Khatri. It also delivers the September 2026 security patch, which fixes 90 security issues present in the previous firmware.
How to join the beta
To enroll, open the Samsung Members app, find the banner for the One UI 9.0 beta program for your phone, tap it and register your device. After enrolling, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates; the beta version of the new software should then appear for your phone.
