Thri5 raises $5.4M seed to scale agentic AI for retail

Thri5 has raised $5.4 million in seed funding led by Whitecap Venture Partners and Mistral Ventures to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and expand its team. The funding will support broader rollouts across North America and Europe as the company seeks to bridge the gap between central enterprise strategy and execution on the store floor.

Thri5 funding and plans

The new capital is intended to speed Thri5’s commercial deployment and hire additional staff as it targets wider adoption of its agentic AI retail execution platform. The company describes its platform as a layer that identifies operational inefficiencies in complex physical work processes and guides store teams to implement corrective actions to improve performance, a capability demonstrated in a recent pilot with Wild Fork Foods.

Background

Founded in 2026 by Jeremy Pee and Herman Paek, both former Loblaw Digital alumni with retail experience including Marks and Spencer, Thri5 focuses on using agentic AI to connect enterprise business strategy with ground-level retail execution.

Funding details

The seed round of $5.4M closed in September 2026 and was led by Whitecap Venture Partners and Mistral Ventures. Company website: https://thri5.ai. Software category: Retail Technology.
