Registration is now open for the UNU Macau AI Conference 2026, scheduled for November 25–26 in Macau SAR, China under the theme “AI × Education: AI for Learning, Learning for AI”.
The two-day event will bring together global policymakers, education leaders, researchers and youth innovators to shape the future of AI-driven digital transformation. By linking innovation with equitable growth, the conference positions Macau as a hub for youth empowerment and tech-forward education, with a special emphasis on perspectives from the Global South.
UNU Macau AI Conference 2026 programme
The conference unfolds across three integrated tracks. On November 25, the AI Conference will be a high-level plenary day featuring the UNU Rector’s Lecture Series IV, keynote addresses and curated panel discussions that span policy framing, trend analysis and strategic solutions. On November 26, the AI for SDGs – Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition 2026, launched by the UNU Global AI Network, will showcase youth teams applying artificial intelligence to address pressing educational challenges. Also on November 26, AI × Education Workshops & Training will offer immersive sessions designed to move beyond conceptual discussion and provide tools, methodologies and frameworks for institutional implementation.
