Samsung S99H OLED wins all three Crampton & Moore TV awards

Samsung’s flagship S99H OLED TV swept the headline prizes at Crampton & Moore’s 11th annual HDTVTest TV Shootout, becoming the first single model in the event’s history to claim all three top awards: Best TV of 2026, Best Home Cinema TV and Best Living Room TV.

How the winner was chosen

The winner was decided by blind testing conducted by a panel of eight industry experts, professional reviewers and enthusiasts. Judges evaluated picture quality across eight categories: Dark scene performance, Color accuracy, HDR performance, Motion, Screen uniformity, Video processing, Bright room performance and Out-of-the-box image accuracy.

Samsung S99H OLED: design, naming, sizes and pricing

Samsung describes the S99H as its latest premium OLED TV. The same model is marketed as the S95H in many markets outside the UK. It is the only OLED TV model released in 2026 to feature a wide, detachable, painting-like grey frame around the screen, a design Samsung calls the ‘FloatLayer Design.’

In the UK the S99H is offered in four sizes from 55 to 83 inches, with prices starting at £2,299 for the 55-inch model; the TV is frequently discounted or bundled with cashback and soundbar offers.

In response to the sweep, Samsung’s VP of Home Entertainment and Appliances said: ‘Winning all three awards […] is a tremendous honor and testament to the technical innovation and expertise of our engineering team […].’
