Shanghai is set to host the Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition next month, focusing on four main themes: NextGen, Palette, Connector, and Go-Green. The event, scheduled for August 20-22 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, will feature forums and seminars offering insights into technology, trends, and trade. The Connector events will provide strategic insights from industry leaders from Colombia, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, with key speakers including Juan Fernando Loaiza, Shokhrukh Kayumov, and Vivie Wei. Additionally, the Home Textiles x Interior Decoration Summit will bring together leaders from home textile brands and interior design experts to discuss industry advancements, innovations, and consumer demands. Anja Bisgaard Gaede will lead discussions in the Future & Textile Zone, exploring future-focused materials and AI-powered design tools. The Palette sessions will highlight creativity and trends in home textiles with presentations from designers like Camilla Rudnicki and Akiyuki Sasaki. Under the Go-Green theme, sustainability experts will delve into business models and industry trends, with presentations from key exhibitors such as Patternsfrom Agency and Fu-tex Co Limited. Other notable events include the Designer’s Style Carnival, the Designer’s Pick Award Ceremony, and the Home Furniture & Textile Top Business Matching. The event is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA).
