The first unboxing video of the iPhone Duo has surfaced online, showing a device obtained ahead of its official release. The clip shows the iPhone Duo shipping flat rather than folded, and otherwise packaged like any other iPhone.
Members of the media have already shared first impressions after trying the iPhone Duo in person, but this unboxing is the first public look from outside the press.
Reviews are expected to go live as soon as tomorrow, and the iPhone Duo is scheduled to launch on October 23.
iPhone Duo availability and launch stock
New iPhone Duos purchased from Apple’s online store will not arrive until January 25. Apple has not said whether stores will have the iPhone Duo available for walk-in purchases on October 23. Apple’s website is advising customers to check back for in‑store stock on the 24th, and some Apple retail employees are reportedly being told to warn customers there likely won’t be launch-day stock. Apple’s websites in Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates state the iPhone Duo will be limited to customers with a pickup reservation.
