Apple has started moving up estimated delivery dates for some customers who pre-ordered the iPhone Duo in countries including the U.S. and Japan.
iPhone Duo pre-orders and shipping updates
Several buyers reported earlier delivery windows this week. In the U.S., YouTuber Matt Gonzalez said his iPhone Duo pre-order initially showed a December delivery estimate but now lists an earlier window of November 20 to November 30; he ordered a Star White model with 512GB of storage. Gonzalez shared the change on Twitter on October 19, 2026.
A handful of other customers have reported their iPhone Duo delivery estimates being moved up by weeks, according to comments shared in U.S. pre-order discussion threads. For example, two customers whose orders originally showed December 1 to December 8 are now seeing November 16 to November 23.
In Japan, one customer said their iPhone Duo is now estimated to arrive on October 24, one day after the device launches; their original estimate had been December 3 to December 10.
Reports from customers across the U.S. and Japan continue to surface in online forums and on social media, so buyers are advised to monitor their pre-order status. Apple has a history of underpromising and overdelivering on new-product shipping estimates, and improved delivery windows for the iPhone Duo are consistent with that pattern.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo began on Friday. Within the first 30 minutes after pre-orders opened, shipping estimates for newly placed orders on Apple’s online store were pushed back to January 25. In a statement issued later that Friday, Apple said demand for the iPhone Duo was “nothing short of extraordinary.”
The iPhone Duo launches this Friday, October 23.
