Industrial operational intelligence startup Syncrowin raises $3M

Syncrowin, a Melbourne-based industrial operational intelligence startup, has raised $3 million in a pre-Seed round to deploy AI in factories and cut breakdowns and waste.

Funding and investors

The round was led by New York’s Collide Capital, with participation from Hustle Fund, POV Ventures, Australia’s Co-Ventures and Ventari, alongside angel investors.

Industrial operational intelligence platform and market

Syncrowin is developing an AI-based operating system aimed at heavy industry sectors such as electricity, oil, gas and manufacturing to improve productivity, efficiency and reliability. The funding will be used to develop and deploy that operating system and to increase headcount in the AI and engineering teams in Australia and San Francisco.

Cofounder and CEO Aisshwarya Kansakaar said, “The world is spending trillions planning new industrial capacity, but a significant portion of what we need already exists, it’s just not running intelligently.” Her cofounder is chief technology officer Jaideep Upadhyay; the pair have engineering backgrounds spanning mechatronics, mechanical and industrial systems, and AI.

Upadhyay said, “The last era of industry was defined by deploying physical assets at extraordinary scale. We believe the next will be defined by the intelligence layered across them.”

Syncrowin has been selected for the Energy Labs Scale Up program and previously received support from the University of Melbourne’s MAP Accelerator. Kansakaar, Victoria’s 2025 Young Australian of the Year, grew up in Nepal.
