However, it seems that the Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2. This chipset, identified by the model number “PMK8850” in firmware files, is expected to boast a new Oryon CPU architecture, with clock speeds reaching up to 4.74GHz in a special “for Galaxy” version. Performance improvements could include up to 25% faster speeds and enhanced graphics capabilities. The official unveiling of this chip is anticipated in September. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra itself may offer a 6.9-inch OLED display, a 200MP main camera, and a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, alongside memory options of 12 or 16 GB RAM and a 5,000mAh battery.
