An early Geekbench 7 result shows the iPhone Duo delivering performance similar to the iPhone 18 Pro while running Apple’s 2nm A20 Pro chip. The benchmarked iPhone Duo (iPhone19,4) on iOS 27.1 posted a single-core score of 3986 and a multi-core score of 11067, numbers that align with multiple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max results.
iPhone Duo benchmark details
The leaked entry identifies the A20 Pro as a 6-core CPU paired with a 7-core GPU. The device lists 11.30GB of memory, which indicates 12GB of RAM, and the CPU shows a 4.93GHz base frequency matching what has been seen in iPhone 18 Pro benchmarks. Only one Geekbench run is available, so while this result is consistent with many iPhone 18 Pro scores, it does fall short of the highest recorded 18 Pro benchmarks.
A20 Pro chip and real-world considerations
Apple states the A20 Pro offers up to 20 percent faster CPU performance than the A19 Pro and up to 40 percent faster GPU performance; GPU speeds were not tested in the reported benchmark. Real-world performance could still vary between the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro models due to differences in thermal management, the iPhone Duo’s two screens versus a single screen, and other factors.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo begin on October 16, with a launch scheduled for October 23.
