Samsung vacuum signs point to possible exit from market

Worrying signs in recent months suggest Samsung may be preparing to slow down or even exit the vacuum cleaner market. Key indicators include dwindling Bespoke stock in multiple markets, the lack of a sequel to the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, and the absence of any vacuum products at IFA 2026.

The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra — one of Samsung’s standout vacuum products in 2025 — has not received a successor, and there are currently no public signs that one is coming. As of October 2026, Bespoke models are increasingly hard to find for sale in many of the markets checked.

Samsung vacuum presence and product cadence

Samsung also presented a notable Bespoke AI robot prototype at IFA 2025 — a model said to climb obstacles — but that robot never went on sale after its IFA 2025 presentation. At IFA 2026, Samsung did not display any vacuum cleaners, despite dedicating space to “AI Living” and its connected ecosystem at the event.

This year, Samsung expanded its cordless vacuum lineup in Europe, but the additions were only a couple of non-Bespoke Jet models that lack a Clean Station and do not include as many of the smart features found on the Ultra.

There is precedent for Samsung retreating from product categories: earlier this year the company stopped selling home appliances and TVs in China, citing aggressive pricing from domestic home appliance brands.

Taken together, the available facts point toward two possible outcomes. One is that Samsung is preparing something major, such as a completely new Bespoke vacuum series for 2027 that the company has kept under wraps. The other is that Samsung may have halted vacuum production plans and is allowing existing stocks to deplete ahead of a possible market exit — a scenario that was rumored earlier this summer and now appears more plausible to some observers given recent signs.

There is no confirmed decision or official statement from Samsung in the information available. We will keep you posted if we find out more.
