Which high-end Samsung Galaxy phones are getting the One UI 8 beta update?

Samsung has expanded its One UI 8 Beta Program, initially launched in May for the Galaxy S25 series, excluding the Galaxy S25 Edge. Starting next week, the beta update will be available for more Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series phones. Eligible devices include the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6, with the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 receiving the update in the following weeks. Notably absent from the list are the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S24 FE, disappointing fans of the Fan Edition phones.

The beta will be accessible in India, South Korea, the UK, and the USA. To participate, users must download the Samsung Members app, log in with their Samsung Account, and register their device through the app’s banner. Once enrolled and the update is available, users can navigate to Settings » Software update to download and install it.

The One UI 8, based on Android 16, introduces various enhancements such as improved Quick Share, new lock screen clock customizations, enhanced split-screen view, upgraded Samsung DeX, better calendar and reminders management, expanded actions and conditions in Modes And Routines, and a more secure Secure Folder. The stable version is expected to be released in September 2025.
