What are Greece’s biggest funding rounds in the first half of 2025?

The startup funding landscape in Greece has experienced significant fluctuations in recent years. After a slowdown in the latter half of 2024, the first half of 2025 has seen a resurgence in funding activity. Although the size of funding rounds has not yet reached the levels of early 2024, the top ten funding rounds in Greek-based or Greek-founded startups totaled €74.11 million. The majority of these rounds were at the seed stage, with amounts ranging from €1 million to €4 million. Notably, the fintech startup Plum secured €34.2 million in venture debt, marking the largest funding round in this period. Other significant deals included Pod Network’s €8.56 million seed round in the blockchain sector and Keragon’s €6.4 million in health tech. PropTech also saw substantial activity, with companies like Prosperty and Billys raising significant funds. Additionally, the logistics sector was represented by Box Now, which raised €5 million. This period highlights a renewed interest in Greek startups, particularly in sectors like fintech, proptech, and climate tech.
