Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE in September, building on the premium Galaxy S series foundation. The new fan-edition model is set to offer a sleeker design, reduced weight, and an enhanced battery capacity, while maintaining many features from the Galaxy S24 FE.
Despite similarities in display, RAM, and chipset with last year’s model, design improvements and better battery performance are anticipated. The Galaxy S25 FE is poised to be a strong contender in the series, merging established hardware with thoughtful enhancements.
Cosmetic updates may lend a more premium appearance, although major specification changes are unlikely. The phone is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC, a marginal speed upgrade from the previous Exynos 2400e, yet it will likely support Galaxy AI features introduced with One UI 8. Storage options are expected to be 128GB or 256GB, with 8GB RAM.
The device is projected to retain its 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, featuring slimmer bezels. The redesign could result in a thinner 7.4mm frame and a lighter weight of 190 grams, down from the previous 8mm thickness and 213 grams.
The camera setup may remain the same, with a triple rear lens comprising a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens, while the front-facing camera might see an upgrade to 12MP from 10MP.
A significant change is expected with a larger 4,900mAh battery, up from the 4,700mAh capacity of its predecessor.
The smartphone is anticipated to feature a fullHD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for durability. Samsung might also employ Armor Aluminum for the frame, enhancing both its premium feel and sturdiness.
