Is Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Pro?

The Galaxy S26 series is gradually being unveiled, with new details emerging about Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip strategy. This next-generation processor, built on an advanced 2nm process, is set to be exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Pro model. The Exynos 2600 promises significant performance and efficiency improvements, boasting up to 12% better performance and 25% improved power efficiency compared to its predecessors. While the Galaxy S26 Pro will feature this chip in regions like Asia (excluding China), Korea, and Europe, models destined for the United States and China may instead be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 “Edge” and “Ultra” models are also expected to use the Snapdragon chip. Samsung’s early start on mass production of the Exynos 2600 marks a strategic move to strengthen its position in the competitive 2nm chip market.
