What to expect from the new Macs and event plans
Apple is rumored to be holding content creator sessions in Los Angeles on October 27 and October 28 to show the new Macs and the OLED iPad mini. The new Macs are expected to debut in October but will not ship to customers until November. With an October 27 announcement, pre-orders could happen that same day and a launch could follow as soon as November 6.
The OLED MacBook Pro is highlighted as a product to watch: it would be Apple’s first touchscreen Mac and the first MacBook Pro redesign since 2021. The new MacBook Pro is said to be lighter than the current version and to use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
