Samsung has taken an unusual step by rolling out the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update much earlier than expected. With November just starting, the update is already available for most eligible devices, including budget-friendly models. The Galaxy M05 and F05 are the latest to receive this update, specifically in India, which is a key market for Samsung’s Galaxy M and F series. The Galaxy M05 update is labeled with firmware version M055FXXU5CYJ4, while the Galaxy F05 update is identified as E055FXXU5CYJ4. To download the update, users should navigate to Settings > Software update and select Download and install. If the update isn’t immediately visible, users are advised to wait a few days, as releases are staggered. Notifications will alert users once the update is ready for their device.
