Are Ugreen’s FineTracker devices the best affordable AirTag alternatives for iPhone users?

Ugreen, known for its stylish and portable chargers and power banks, has expanded its product line to include innovative Bluetooth tracking devices for Apple users. The Ugreen FineTracker Tag and FineTracker Slim Wallet Tracker are both Apple Find My certified, providing global location tracking and real-time item monitoring without needing an additional app.

The FineTracker Tag is a versatile device designed to help locate objects like keys and luggage. It runs on a CR2032 battery, offering up to two years of usage before needing a replacement. The tracker features a keyring hole and lanyard for easy attachment and integrates seamlessly with the Apple Find My network. While it lacks the precision finding technology of the AirTag, it compensates with a loud speaker for easy location of misplaced items and supports Left Behind notifications.

The FineTracker Slim Wallet Tracker is designed in a credit-card shape, making it ideal for wallets. It is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and fits easily into a wallet or backpack pocket. Despite being slightly thicker than a credit card, it includes an 80dB speaker to help locate lost items. The device can be recharged via magnetic fast charging, although it requires a proprietary cable.

Ugreen’s trackers offer reliable and affordable alternatives to Apple’s AirTag, with options for both keyrings and wallets. The FineTracker Tag is priced at €11.96, and the Slim Wallet Tracker is available for €21.56 on Amazon, while the Apple AirTag costs €39.
