Are Verizon’s new $30 Simplicity plans a good deal for Galaxy users?

Verizon has launched a new series of “Simplicity” plans in the U.S., offering rates as low as $30 per month for new customers. These plans are accessible to everyone, including Samsung device users, whether they are current Verizon customers or switching from another carrier. The $30 monthly rate with autopay is a promotional offer for new customers eligible for a switch discount, while existing Verizon users will pay $45 per month with autopay, excluding taxes. The plans include unlimited 5G data, talk, and text, along with international roaming and satellite texting. Subscribers also receive 10GB of mobile hotspot data, 3% cash back in Verizon Dollars on bill payments and add-ons, call filtering, and access to the Verizon Family parental controls app. Those transitioning from another carrier can avoid activation or upgrade fees by enrolling in Verizon Loyalty.
