ChatGPT Ads: Bulk Product Creation, Review Status and New Markets

OpenAI has informed advertisers of several ChatGPT Ads updates: bulk creation for product feed campaigns, visible product review status, the ability to report attributed conversions beyond a campaign’s selected goal via the public Insights API, separate management of account/brand/legal names, and expanded availability in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

ChatGPT Ads bulk product creation

You can now create multiple product feed campaigns and ad groups from a spreadsheet in Ads Manager. Ad templates are generated automatically. To get started, go to Campaigns → Bulk uploads, choose Bulk sheet, and download the Product feed template.

Product review status in Products tab

If you have product feed campaigns set up, you can view product review status in the Products tab. This view is intended to make it easier to track products through review and to understand why products have been rejected.

Report conversions beyond your campaign goal via the Insights API

The public Insights API now lets advertisers retrieve attributed conversion events beyond a campaign’s selected goal. For example, you can report on attributed purchases while optimizing for a different event without changing the campaign’s conversion goal or optimization settings.

Separate account, brand and legal names

Settings → General now lets you manage an internal account name, a public brand name shown with ads, and your registered legal name for billing and verification separately. Account name changes do not trigger review. Brand name changes pause ad serving until approved. Legal name changes restart business review and may pause serving.

Expanded availability: Southeast Asia and Taiwan

ChatGPT Ads have expanded to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. The announcement included a full list of markets where ChatGPT Ads are currently available: Algeria, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.
