Galaxy S27 Ultra likely to use only Snapdragon, not Exynos 2700

A new South Korean rumor claims the Galaxy S27 Ultra will exclusively use Qualcomm’s new flagship processor, rather than receiving Samsung’s Exynos 2700 in some regions.

Galaxy S27 Ultra chipset situation

Last week the Exynos 2700 entered mass production, with production volume reported to be about 10% higher than the Exynos 2600. Samsung is expected to use the Exynos 2700 exclusively in the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Pro models.

Reports had been split on whether the Galaxy S27 Ultra would get the Exynos 2700 in some markets and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon in others. The latest rumor says Exynos 2700 yields are good, but that no allocation has been made for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, which suggests the Ultra may instead ship only with Qualcomm’s new flagship chipset.

Samsung will launch four Galaxy S27 models next year. It remains early, and conflicting rumors and reports may continue until Samsung provides official details.
