Galaxy Z Fold 8 sales up 50% in Europe vs Fold 7 models

Samsung reports a 50% increase in combined European sales for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup compared with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The company also highlights a threefold rise in users upgrading from a Galaxy Z Flip series phone to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, relative to upgrades to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Switchers: Flip users, other brands and iPhone owners

Samsung says 20% of Galaxy Z Flip 8 users switched from other brands, and many of those buyers are purchasing their first foldable. The company additionally points to a 60% increase in iPhone users switching to a new Galaxy Z8 device over the previous generation.
